Transforming Community Engagement: How a Promotional Video Boosted Rail Splitter CrossFit

"Catlin Utterback here, one of the owners of Rail Splitter CrossFit here in Springfield, Illinois. So about a year ago, we reached out to Andrew and OOT Box Media to do a promotional video for the gym as a whole, providing our services, community, our coaches, everything that we provide here at Rail Splitter CrossFit. We did a 60-second video for Facebook and Instagram and was really surprised and happy with how it turned out.
We posted the videos to our social media, Facebook & Instagram. We sponsored the post a little bit, but it was the most traffic we have ever seen from a post, a sponsored post or a regular post. With that, it generated people reaching out to us through emails to get started here at Rail Splitter CrossFit and they said the promotional video that OOT Box Media did for us was what caught their eye and attracted them to our facility, our coaches, our community and our services here at Rail Splitter CrossFit.
We noticed a lot of growth once we posted the videos from OOT Box Media on our Get Started link. So that's people new to the sport, never done the sport before, really didn't know what CrossFit was. With that promotional video that OOT Box Media did, in 60 seconds, it explained that CrossFit is for everyone and that anyone can start CrossFit no matter what fitness level they're at. The biggest thing was our Get Started link. It started getting hit up a lot by new customers and people who have never done the sport before because of the video.
For everyone out there who's maybe on the fence about utilizing OOT Box Media and the services they provide with their promotional videos or anything else that can explain your business to the public, pull the trigger. Don't even hesitate. Super professional group of individuals, and you can tell they genuinely care about your company when you're working with them. They still reach out to me today with ideas. I could really tell they took interest in our company, which made the videos that much better portrayed to the public on our Facebook and our Instagram."
